Know a charity we should look at?
Most of our smaller grants start as a suggestion from a client or member of staff at Altor Wealth. There is no form and no funding round. Just tell us about it.
What we look for
A UK charity with a large net impact
The charity must be registered in the UK. We favour projects achieving two or more of our five aims at once: cleaning up our environment, reducing waste, greening the energy mix, alleviating poverty and improving young people's health.
We also consider charities personally supported by Altor Wealth clients and staff, by request. For those we mainly ask two things: is it well run, and does the person proposing it know it well?
What to send
Four things, in an email

- 02What it does, in a paragraph
- 03Why you are suggesting it and how you know it
- 04Anything specific a grant would fund, if you know
The trustees consider suggestions as they arrive and will reply either way.
